- February 12 - classic Contacts will be shut down, only new Contacts will be available
- October 2018 - With the Gmail interface update, users will now access their Contacts via the App Menu (nine grey squares in the top right of G Suite) rather than through Gmail. For more information on Contacts delegated access, read a Contacts and new Gmail overview.
