Email Encryption
Disguising messaging to protect sensitive information from unintended recipients.
Protect the content of an email so that sensitive information can only be accessed by the intended recipient. Email sent by state of Colorado employees is encrypted in transit, but because some email contains sensitive data, it is important that another layer of security be added to those emails so that only the intended recipient can view them. If you are outside of the state workforce and have received an encrypted email from the state, click on the instructions button and follow the steps to access that email.
Email Encryption User Guide This guide provides information on how to open, read and preserve encrypted emails.
